Sometimes, understanding is the hardest thing to do.
All you want is to understand how it is impossible for you to find somebody that will like you for who you are.
Friends say that time will show.
Yet somehow, it only takes them two weeks and they're on to someone new.
Like an old deck of cards tossed out, because the corners were bent.
It's great to want something so badly, and have people all around you get it.
Without even trying.
They don't do anything. They don't try. They don't wish. Or want.
Or desire.
Yet it always seems to go their way.
Those who want something so badly, and work so hard for it, get crushed.
Those who just sit and cruise, receive.
It is impossible to sit with people who receive such things on a silver platter.
Knowing.
What you've worked for was handed to them.
You've worked so much harder for a fraction of a result, but still nothing.
All you can feel is empytiness. A void in your soul.
Silent.

However, perhaps the most important part is not the product that you get in the end.
Dont get me wrong. Everybody loves to aquire what they need.
Or think they need.
But perhaps the thing you really need is the problems you go through to get to the end.

As you can see, my friend, there is far more to this than what you can see, unless you look just a little bit deeper.
